“From Bethlehem to The Gates of Heaven” was inspired by the Biblical story* of a young lad who shared his small lunch with Jesus, who then provided, by way of a miracle, an abundant meal for over 5,000 people.

The story neither starts nor ends there.  First you will meet the lad’s grandparents, Jeremiah & Ruth, who are not devout Hebrews and you will learn of their journey to Bethlehem from Nazareth by joining up with a merchant’s caravan. They meet some interesting people who teach them many events that happened in the various cities and country sides they travel through, visiting some of the great sites that are linked to dynamic events of Bible times.

A major turning point for Micah’s life occurred in Bethsaida when Jesus used his small lunch to feed over five thousand people. That miracle, followed by seeing Jesus and Peter walking on the water made a deep impression on this eight-year-old’s life and he wanted to live the life that God had planned for him.

This decision drove him to learn all he could about Jesus; especially His teachings and miracles that led Micah to a life of service to God that provided an excellent Christian example.

We hope you will not only enjoy reading Book 1 of the 5 book series, but that you will be driven to read the stories we share directly from their original source: The Holy Bible, God’s sacred word that, if we will listen, God can and will guide us though a powerful life in His will.  By putting your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, is sort of like God having this unique wheelbarrow and you just climb in with both feet and let Him direct where you will go. Listen to God, seek Him with all your heart, and He will direct your path.  You will be on the ride of your life and with His guidance and help, you will accomplish things you never thought possible.  I know, because I was so challenged many years ago at the age of 19.
